PEEPS

Somehow, I never ran into Marshmallow Peeps as a child.  Perhaps I should praise my parents as this confection is delicious and highly addictive, and can lead to mood swings if eaten to excess (which I just did). Made in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania by Just Born since 1953, their obvious Jesus connection makes them doubly appropriate for the Easter season.  I do like that the pagan symbols of spring's rebirth are still around, even if in marshmallow form.
