I'm particularly fond of Victorian transferware and this pitcher makes a nice addition to my growing collection. I love the design of the registration mark found on the bottom of this piece. By checking this website I determined that the vessel was made on January 8th, 1880. This summer, we'll be attempting to recreate this decorative technique.
