After a long hard week of installing at the gallery, we celebrated by checking out the local thrift shops up Hamilton's mountain. Talize is a Value Village-esque chain that has some choice items, especially in the jewellery department. You'll see here some pieces we purchased this morning and shot in the parking lot. There is a location in Mississauga, so you don't have to travel as far as Hamilton. However, we've really enjoyed our time in this former steel town; the buildings are beautiful, the people are friendly and efficient, and it looks like this city is moving from bust to boom.
