Considering the recent heat wave, I can't think of a better way to catch a breeze and experience High Park than catching a ride on the "trackless train." No energy exertion is necessary aside from handing over $4.50 to the fare collector, a price well worth the half hour ride through the trees and by the pond on a lazy Saturday afternoon. The vehicle is actually a tractor, but with a little engineering and some imagination, the resulting train is the essence of joy found in simple pleasures.
