SHAAREI TZEDEC

I pass by this Shul on my daily commute to the studio.  Shaarei Tzedec, located at Markham and Ulster, is an Orthodox congregation established in 1902.  I have to say, the converted Victorian home is in great disrepair, however, the hydrangea bush embracing the cedar is absolutely captivating.  The textures and soft pinks to purples against the periwinkle blue of the brick is beautiful.  The scene fills me with a desire to experience the interior of this building, fuelling my interest in the Jewish faith and tradition.
