I found this early 20th century printed mohair blanket/rug at the Arezzo antiques market while in Italy. I would consider going back to Tuscany just to visit this monthly event. Started in 1968, the market is comprised of over 500 stalls exploding from a central square, winding down and around steep medieval streets and narrow alleys. I can't think of a better way to spend a day; if there is a heaven, I hope that the streets are littered with such glorious junk rather than paved in gold.
