I love it when products maintain their original package design. Not only does this continuity lend a certain nostalgia to a purchase, but it also establishes a trust in consistency. Quaker Oats recently changed their iconic packaging, much to my dismay, let's hope Bull Dog doesn't follow. I understand the reason for change; to excite the customer with something new. However, contemporary design teams usually miss the mark, seemingly overwhelmed with their infinite selection of colours, fonts and graphics.
